Group Home Assistant Managers Residential Program Manalapan, Marlboro, Old Bridge & Toms River NJ locations The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation. It serves infants, children, and adults with developmental and related disabilities and offers specialized facilities, programs, and support throughout New Jersey. Join our dedicated staff of more than 500 and make a difference in someone's life! We are recruiting group home assistant managers in Manalapan, Marlboro, Old Bridge & Toms River, NJ. TheAssistant Manager trains and supervises staff and assists in assessments and medical appointments. The qualified candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills, a responsible attitude, and reliability. The ability to help with client care and transportation is required. The qualified candidate will share on-call responsibilities with the group home Manager and provide effective leadership and direction to staff in the manager's absence.
Job Requirements: - An Associate's degree preferred
- A valid driver's license is in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
- Experience working as a supervisor is preferred.
- Experience with individuals with intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities
Work Schedules: Manalapan (GH4) work schedule: Sun. 9 am-5 pm; Mon.-Wed. 2 pm-10 pm & Thurs. 1 pm-9 pm Marlboro (GH15) work schedule: Tues.-Thurs. 3pm-11pm; Fri. 1pm-9pm; Sat. 8:30am-4:30pm Old Bridge (GH3) work schedule: Sun. 9am-5pm; Mon. 3pm-11pm; Tues. & Wed. 2pm-10pm; Thurs. 3pm-11pm Toms River (GH 11) work schedule: Tues.-Fri. 2 pm-10 pm & Sat. 9 am-5 pm Other shifts are available at these locations.
