Group Home Personal Care Assistant ($22-28/hr) We are looking for a compassionate, supportive, and well-rounded individual who will provide direct patient care.
About the opportunity: It has a 5 units campus, with 4-5 residents per unit, a beautiful modern facility, very clean, and recently built, it is an all-male facility but the staff is co-ed.
- There is a Doctor, Therapist, and Speech Therapist also on site.
- Available on-site Parking
- Multiple shifts are availab le; must be available for some weekend shifts
Your role will be: - Ensure clients receive their medication on time
- Support clients who can't move on their own
- Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
- Cook meals according to the customer's restrictions
- Help customers with their shopping
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Driving state vehicles to transport individuals to work, recreational and other activities
Qualifications: - Must have a valid, current driver's license
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Applicants must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
- Dependable, reliable, and caring
