DescriptionJoin our Team! Our Group Home Supervisors seek to enhance human dignity for all individuals of all faiths and beliefs and meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of the clients we serve by providing outstanding leadership to the team members in the home they are overseeing. Major Job Responsibilities:
  • This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position (32 hours of DSP work while acting as supervisor and 8 hours of admin work per week).
  • Complete direct cares with male and female residents, which includes bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc.
  • Meal preparation, medication administration, housekeeping, and coordinating activities.
  • Follow through on health care needs for the clients pertaining to prescriptions, doctor's appointments, etc, as well as relaying information to the clients guardian and/or caseworker.
  • Ensure all new hires have successfully completed orientation, training and directives.
  • Ensure all existing staff complete the ongoing training required by DHS.
  • Monitor and observe the performance of all other team members to provide positive feedback, advice/consultation on tasks, and/or redirecting/retraining.
  • Maintains a therapeutic and skill building relationship with clients, Catholic Charities policies, DHS requirements, and SLS policies and procedures and ensuring all team members following the same practices.
  • Attention to detail, good documentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Accountable for all activity related to any financial matters of the homes (monthly budget reports, bills/invoices, training of staff, MA eligibility re-certification, and fiscal responsibility.)
  • One week on-call rotation with other Direct Support Supervisors/Managers
Job Requirements: Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Two years post-high school preferred Job Related Experience: Three (3) years related experience working with DDMI populations, at least two of which are working in group residential settings. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must possess a valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass a background and driving check.What you earn and benefits:
