The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.- Lead and supervise a team of machinists on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets.- Coordinate with other shift leads and management to ensure seamless transition and communication across shifts.- Monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring all products meet company specifications and customer requirements.- Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.Requirements:Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus.- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools is preferred.Build your career alongside 325+ team members in our 52nd year ofmaking parts that matter!Want to know more about who we are?
