Your Role at Delta Faucet

If you enjoy leading production work groups in a dynamic manufacturing facility, this role is for you! The 3rd shift Group Leader is responsible for day-to-day production activities on 3rd shift including safety, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, training and employee engagement and development. In this role, you will also participate in short to mid-term planning for budget management, project coordination, support of new product launches, development of standardized work procedures and finding innovative solutions to issues.

Responsibilities

* Set clear performance expectations and goals for team leaders and their teams.

* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.

* Achieves and sustains targeted safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

* Leading and sustaining compliance with plants Shop Floor Management System

* Lead and promote a proactive approach to ensure a safe working environment

* Lead, promote, and support continuous improvement activities

* Complete required audits

* Apply data analysis tools

* Appropriately staff and schedule departmental personnel with planning to ensure production requirements are met at lowest possible cost

* Coordinate and train all new team members

* Ensure and support machine set-up, maintenance and operations

* Development of Team Leader Skills.

* Develops, revises, and adheres to Standard Work

* Delivery Schedule attainment

* Support new product launch efforts

* Coordinate Team Member vacation time and record absenteeism

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field with a minimum of two years supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

* Extremely strong team leadership and cross-functional communication skills

* Excellent analytical skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Ability to work with high a degree of reliability and self-reliance

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs

* Injection molding experience is a plus

Other Considerations:

* Candidate will work 3rd shift schedule onsite in our Morgantown, Kentucky facility

Hiring Range: $64,200.00 - $100,870.00
