The 3rd shift Group Leader is responsible for day-to-day production activities on 3rd shift including safety, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, training and employee engagement and development. In this role, you will also participate in short to mid-term planning for budget management, project coordination, support of new product launches, development of standardized work procedures and finding innovative solutions to issues.ResponsibilitiesSet clear performance expectations and goals for team leaders and their teams.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.Achieve and sustain targeted safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.Lead and sustain compliance with plant's Shop Floor Management System.Promote a proactive approach to ensure a safe working environment.Support continuous improvement activities.Complete required audits.Apply data analysis tools.Appropriately staff and schedule departmental personnel to ensure production requirements are met at the lowest possible cost.Coordinate and train all new team members.Ensure and support machine set-up, maintenance, and operations.Develop Team Leader skills.Adhere to Standard Work.Achieve delivery schedule attainment.Support new product launch efforts.Coordinate Team Member vacation time and record absenteeism.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field with a minimum of two years supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Extremely strong team leadership and cross-functional communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to work with a high degree of reliability and self-reliance.Excellent interpersonal skills.Computer literacy with ability to learn new software programs.Injection molding experience is a plus.Other Considerations:Candidate will work 3rd shift schedule onsite in our Morgantown, Kentucky facility.Why Join Us?At Delta Faucet Company, our people are our greatest assets.
