Little Palm Island Resort & Spa - a Relais & Chateaux Resort, is a one-of-a-kind destination. Situated on a private Island 30 minutes from Key West, accessible only by our private ferry. With a selection of 30 luxury suites, a Balinese-style spa, the main attraction is the exclusive waterside fine dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with sunset views and fire pits for enjoying a nightcap. With over half of the seats located right on the ocean, The Dining Room seats 100 guests and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, you and your team serve fine cocktails in the lounge, in-room dining, and cater to small refined private gatherings. A day in the life...

The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Solicitation of group business in accordance with the individual goals as well as accomplishing property budget
  • Prospecting, sales calls, selling, negotiations, closing sales and meeting specified budgetary goals set in place each year
  • Understand the luxury product, the luxury sales market, and the luxury market needs.
  • Participating in daily business review, working with other departments within the hotels to provide quality service to customers.

Requirements

You own this, if you have...

  • 1 - 2 years hotel sales experience within an Independent, Lifestyle Hotel/Resort preferred
  • Know how to make a profitable sales call, how to negotiate, how to overcome objections, and how to fully service and execute a sale.

While an important part of the Little Palm Island Team's success, this position can be executed remotely for FL or MD residents only.

This position will have a base salary + Bonus Incentive & Commission
