Partiful's mission is to cultivate friendships through social events. We believe parties (and other social events) are the most effective way to meet new people and make friends. Our product helps you throw incredible events, starting with memorable party pages that make it easy to plan & communicate with guests - download the app to see how it works! We're building new ways to streamline planning, connect meaningfully in the real world, and make connections between friends-of-friends. Our ultimate vision is to power everything you do in-person with your friends, eliminating the friction of bringing your most memorable experiences to life. You can read more about our mission in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, Modern Retail, and Mashable (who called us one of the top 10 trends that changed the internet in 2022). Our company is backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Google Ventures, and advised by the founders of some of the most successful consumer social products ever made. The Role As Partiful's first Growth & Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving user acquisition and product usage. You'll develop feature launch strategies and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns, while optimizing Partiful's product positioning to increase growth and engagement. In this role, you will:
- Define and refine product and feature positioning to make Partiful's unique value propositions resonate with target audiences.
- Collaborate with our Product Engineering team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and product launches.
- Design and implement end-to-end marketing campaigns that drive growth and product adoption, while tracking and reporting key growth and performance metrics to assess and optimize results.
- Work with our Business Operations team to analyze data, gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Partner with our Community team to create high-quality marketing content (e.g. blog posts, case studies, product demos, social posts, feature guides, in-app messaging, hiring and managing content creators) to highlight product features and success stories.
You're likely a good fit if:
- You have 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or a similar role at a consumer tech company, and 2+ years of experience working at a consumer tech startup
- You're experienced with developing GTM plans and executing product marketing techniques
- You've launched lots of features for consumer apps and know what works (and doesn't)
- You deeply understand consumer user profiles and know how to make them care about - and use - a product.
- You're familiar with SEO, ASO, and other growth marketing strategies
- You have a playbook of refined (and where appropriate, unique) marketing strategies, but aren't afraid to experiment
- You love owning the tactical execution of marketing campaigns, not just the strategy (e.g., jumping in to create content yourself if it's needed for a campaign)
- You're experienced at turning data into actionable insights
- You move fast, have an ownership mentality, and excellent communication and collaboration skills
- You have experience with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude)
