We hire individuals committed to excellence and who share our passion for making a positive impact in a collaborative and inclusive work environment.As Guard I, you will be responsible for conducting unarmed foot patrol within a government environment while providing superior service to customers, visitors, and employees.Essential Functions: In addition to providing physical security, Deployed Services, LLC's G.E.T. principals will participate in this role. Greet, Engage, and Thank individuals for their business or patronizing the location. These duties include:
  • Welcome guests in a warm, gracious manner, inviting them into the location
  • Facilitate various guest services, including transportation and area attraction inquiries
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, concerns, or complaints; relay pertinent information to management
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
  • Perform stationary post assignments: Open and close doors for clients
  • Engage in proactively scanning post-assignment area to make sure we are following Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)
  • Engage by being proactive in all manners relating to all post-orders
  • Proactively scan for potential threats stemming from criminal activity or life safety issues
  • Proactively seek out and develop rapport with customers by assessing what is important to them and addressing it
  • Proactively stay current with the latest information as it pertains to your site and area that may include but is not limited to crime trends, terrorist threats, area shops, restaurants, and attractions, including brand profiles, merchandise collections, promotions, and current news
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Sound alarms or call the police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized person(s)
  • Identify and warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits; may be required to utilize handheld wands or walk-through magnetometers
  • Prevent individuals from theft of company property
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
  • Liaison with local law enforcement
  • Ensure the job site area with your area of control is always clean and professional-looking
  • Assist with basic first aid and make emergency notifications, if needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must be warm, engaging, charismatic; and possess a natural ability to develop rapport with others
  • Must practice good judgment and demonstrate a high level of integrity
  • Must be proactive; take initiative with minimal supervision
  • Must be resourceful; think critically and find solutions even without obvious resources
  • Must be able to navigate challenging situations while remaining positive
  • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365. Inside and outside, all weather conditions
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps and lift up to 55lbs
  • Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
  • Must have resided in the continental U.S. the last 3 consecutive years (full time)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
