Category Food & Beverage DescriptionGuest Relations and Reservations Manager Cape Cod Central Railroad (CCCR) is currently hiring for the role of Guest Relations and Reservations Manager. This person will oversee daily Cape Cod Central Railroad operations to ensure a high-level positive guest experience. The Manager will schedule and oversee the CCCR Teams: Reservations, Guest Relations, Gift Shop, Cleaning, Dining, Parking, Onboarding, Polar Express (PEX). This is a critical role at Cape Cod Central Railroad. This is a full-time, non-exempt position primarily in Hyannis, MA, but may require working out of multiple locations including Hyannis, Buzzards Bay and Taunton.   • Schedule and oversee the CCCR Teams: Reservations, Guest Services, Gift Shop, Cleaning, Dining, Parking, Onboarding, Polar Express (PEX)
  • Answer guest inquiries and questions in a professional and timely manner
  • Accurately process nightly deposits
  • Assist in facilitating group sales with tour operators
  • Manage CCCR website and online social presence
  • Expand CCCR's guest and staff network
  • Fill in for CCCR Team members when needed - Gift Shop, Snack Bar, Onboarding, etc.
  • Be knowledgeable of train seating details
  • Problem solve staff concerns and issues
  • Follow Warner Bros. PEX guidelines on character development, scripts, costumes, etc
  • Follow Cape Cod Central Railroad's established standards, instructions, and procedures
  • Report issues or guest concerns to VP, Operations
  • Must ride trains regularly; Must work Weekends and Holidays
  • Position will work out of multiple locations. Primarily Hyannis and Buzzards Bay, and possibly Taunton in the winter.
Position Requirements
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, food service industry, event planning required
  • Familiar with Fare Harbor tour and activity booking solution preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way; at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and delegate accordingly to others
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Must remain professional at all times
  • Physically fit; Able to stand, walk, kneel, and lift 40 pounds on occasion; must be comfortable riding trains
