Job Description Harrah's Cherokee Resort Hotel Position DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Guest Service Representative DEPARTMENT: Marketing-Promotions GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H9 - Non-Exempt BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Work PermitGreen REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Casino Services & DR Casino Services Supervisor SUPERVISES: N/A JOB SUMMARY: Assist in the execution of casino Promotions and Special Events in various locations and Entertainment performances in the Cherokee Events Center. JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up chair & row numbering per floor plan
- Remove all numbering from pavilion seats after shows
- Greet guests in a friendly, out-going manner
- Scan tickets and direct guest in Showroom, Promotions and Special Events
- Explain and answer questions regarding the property, Casino Promotions, Special Events, Entertainment, and the benefits of the Total Rewards program in a friendly manner
- Create fun and exciting environment for the guests while working Promotions, Special Events and Entertainment
- Display Spotlight behaviors, and present upbeat and positive attitude
- Participating team member by providing constructive input and suggestions
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
- Other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
- Must have great customer service, employee relation, and individual / teamwork skills
- Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of CMS, LMS, or/and EMS is preferred
- Must be able to operate at a fast pace environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to learn and to be adaptable
- Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
- Able to get along with co-workers and work as a contributing member of a team
- Able to receive and accept direction and instruction in a positive and cooperative manner
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
