**Zoo Keeper: Central Zoo (Full-Time)**

Applications are being accepted for a full-time Zoo Keeper in the Central Zoo.

The Zoo Keeper performs work necessary to provide basic daily animalcare for zoo animals, ensures appropriate animal welfare, and performs husbandry practices such as operant conditioning, enrichment strategy, and assisting with husbandry and enclosure furnishing design. This position is responsible for daily husbandry of New World primates, agouti, Canada lynx, and a variety of bird species.

The Human Resources People & Culture Leader serves as a strategic partner with senior leadership and as a resource to all zoo employees. This position develops and nurtures this partnership to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention and is responsible for delivering a high level of human resource expertise on employee relations, staffing, performance, and other critical issues to the institution.

A Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources management, or a related field; three years of experience as a human resources generalist or associate; and three years of experience in performance management, recruitment, selection, training, compensation, and benefits are required. **Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time)**

Applications are being accepted for a part-time Maintenance Assistant.

The Maintenance Assistant assists with general and preventative maintenance needs throughout the zoo such as carpentry and small engine equipment as well as operation, inspection, and maintenance of rides and vehicles.

One year of maintenance experience in carpentry, automotive, or similar fields and previous experience operating a forklift, bobcat, and small engines are preferred. This is a part-time position requiring availability for up to a 29-hour work week year-round. Click here for a and .

**Front Gate Associate:** Front Gate Associates welcome guests into the Zoo by performing admission, membership, and other-point-of-sale transactions at the Zoo entrance.

**Operations Associate**: Operations Associates provide guests safe and memorable experiences by operating and assisting at Zoo rides and face painting, as well as ensuring a safe and clean environment by performing housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the Zoo.
