Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Guest Services Team Leader to join our Vacation Rentals Division. In this role, you will deliver exceptional hospitality to our vacation rental guests while serving as the key liaison between guests and the Operations Manager. Your primary goal will be to ensure guest satisfaction, ensure our properties are in top condition and facilitate smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the inspection and cleaning staff to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality, conducting daily check-in/check-out inspections & reporting/resolving maintenance issues. Successful candidates should be tech-savvy, have excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Compensation is $25 hourly. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with nights and weekends open in case of an emergency.

Responsibilities
  • Prompt Response and Assistance:
    • Monitor online platforms regularly to promptly respond to inquiries and provide helpful information.
    • Address guests' questions with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
    • Actively listen to guests' complaints, empathize with their concerns, and work towards satisfactory resolutions.
    • Follow up with guests to ensure that any issues raised have been adequately resolved.
    Maintaining Professionalism and Organization:
    • Create schedules for inspections team, ensure team is dispatched as needed.
    • Communicate with cleaning crew and ensure they are maintaining our high standards of cleanliness. Address & correct issues with staff.
    • Ensure our properties are thoroughly cleaned, organized, and welcoming for guests.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
    Inventory Management and Stocking:
    • Assist in organizing and restocking supplies to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
    • Regularly assess inventory levels and communicate any restocking needs to the appropriate personnel.
    Pre-Check-in Property Inspection:
    • Conduct thorough inspections of properties before guests check in to ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies.
    • Address any issues identified during inspections promptly to ensure guest satisfaction upon arrival.
    Post-Check-out Property Inspection:
    • Inspect properties after guest check-outs to identify any damages or maintenance issues.
    • Document any findings accurately and report them to the relevant departments for resolution.
    Routine Maintenance Tasks:
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing lightbulbs, batteries, and air filters.
    • Keep track of maintenance schedules and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
    Communication with Operations Manager:
    • Effectively communicate maintenance and repair needs with the Operations Manager to ensure timely resolution.
    • Provide detailed reports and updates on property conditions as necessary.
    Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
    • Stay informed about relevant safety regulations and take proactive measures to address any potential hazards.
    Qualifications
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
    • Professional oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be tech savvy and able to easily operate and navigate online apps, email & television equipment.
    • Able to lift up to 35 lbs, push, pull, walk & climb stairs/ladders. Specific vision abilities are required for this role.
    • MUST be available for Nights, Weekends & Holidays as needed.
    • MUST have reliable transportation & a valid Driver's License.
    • MUST be able to travel between Tybee Island and Downtown Savannah on a daily basis (as needed).
    Compensation

    $25 hourly
