KeyJob Title: Gulf CoasterSupervisor's Title: Director of Visitor Experience Department: Experience SUMMARY OF PRINCIPAL & MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Gulf Coasters Crew is responsible for performing a full range of customer service duties, supporting the overall operation of the Experience Department. Primary responsibilities will include greeting and welcoming visitors, answering questions related to visiting Corpus Christi, including Padre & Mustang Islands, and maintaining a high-level of excitement and approachability while conducting visitor satisfaction surveys. You'll also actively contribute to the retail operations of the store, assisting with sales, product knowledge, and creating a positive and engaging shopping experience.The Gulf Coaster will operate primarily in an outdoor setting and will be able to work effectively in extremely hot and cold temperatures as well as adverse weather conditions while maintaining a friendly, helpful, and high level of energy for guest interactions no matter the situation. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff members and visitors as they promote their love for Corpus Christi and encourage repeat visits. CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time, Seasonal, March 2024-September 2024, Non-exempt: Semi-monthly, hourly.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):Visitor Engagement:
- Collect Net Promoter Score Surveys to measure visitor sentiment.
- Promote Corpus Christi at a variety of festival and events
- Maintain accurate recording and record keeping of all visitor engagements.
- Maintain and operate a golf cart along designated routes to proactively find and engage with visitors.
- Communicate and engage with potential and existing visitors daily via email, social media, phone calls and in-person visitors.
- Contact tourism partners to gather targeted information for specific content creation projects.
Retail Operations:
- Assist customers with product selection and purchases.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized store environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Learn and share detailed product knowledge.
- Contribute to creating a positive and engaging shopping experience.

Education, Training and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Guest/visitor service experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
License/Certifications:
