Description Position at Western CT Health Network Inc Summary:Responsible for coordinating the Nuvance Health Gun Violence Prevention (GVP) Program. In collaboration with the GVP Program leadership team, designs and executes a program consistent with the vision of the organization. Responsibilities:1. On behalf of the Gun Violence Prevention Program leadership team, co-develops, implements, and manages the Nuvance Health GVP Program. 2. Directs and oversees the program's implementation across all six Nuvance Health hospitals, including developing and managing the project plan, coordinating the implementation of key activities, tracking milestones and deliverables, ensuring budget adherence, and deploying mitigation strategies, as appropriate. 3. Initiates and maintains ongoing collaboration with community based organizations (CBOs) involved in public safety as well as relevant Nuvance Health key stakeholder groups. Convenes community meetings and forums as needed. 4. Continuously researches evidence-based practices related to local and national GVP programs to ensure the program design is based on the best contemporary knowledge. Incorporates learnings into program design, implementation, and modifications. 5. Conducts baseline Nuvance Health and community assessments for each involved hospital's primary service area (PSA) as the program expands across the network. Evaluates program impact after each site implementation. 6. In collaboration with content experts, creates the training curriculum and materials, coordinates training events, and evaluates training effectiveness. 7. Coordinates development of marketing and community education materials in multiple media formats. 8. Collects and analyzes data related to program processes and outcomes. Creates data visualization presentations for use with multiple audiences. 9. Liaises with the Foundation department as needed. Manages the flow of philanthropic funding from the Foundation to the appropriate department cost center. Composes progress reports for funders and other invested parties. 10. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.11. Maintains and models Nuvance Health Values12. Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements:This position requires a minimum formal education of Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three years job related experienceSkills Required: Aptitude with Microsoft applications including: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
