Position at Autocar, LLCWho Are We Looking For?Autocar is looking for individuals that thrive in a team-based environment, for a company focused on attaining goals. The primary responsibility of the Assembly Team Members will be to function in self-directed work groups/teams, responsible for the productive operation of the Assembly line.Job Qualifications:* High School Diploma or GED* Over one year of experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment preferred* A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to open and read a Bill of Materials* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings; Demonstrated mechanical aptitude* Perform backflushes correctly and insure the 5s is followed* Ensure quality control is met* Help gather relevant data for part shortages and repetitive defects* Provide Feedback to supervisors and QC* Participate in root cause problem solving* Train new employees to meet expectations in assigned workstations* Be able to oversee or perform installations outside of the standard conditions* Be able to perform the work at four stations within the department or other departmentsWORK CONDITIONS:Standard manufacturing plant environment with moderate noise level.
