Job Description: A network of outpatient practices in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their women's health team in Brooklyn. About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: Office is open 8-6 or 8-5, closed on the weekends Specialty: GYNPatient Population: Adults Responsibilities:The GYN NP or PA will:Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments, order appropriate laboratory, radiological and special examinations or tests; interpret resultsTreat routine gynecological problems and provide cervival cancer screeningsDevelop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physiciansProvide patient education including lactation education Perform outpatient procedures as required including IUD insertion Qualifications:1+ years of experience in an outpatient or physician practice settingNYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license or Physician Assistant (PA)2 years women's health experience
