The Procopio Companies (TPC) is a growing multifamily developer based in Middleton, Massachusetts. Our residential projects range from $20mm-$150mm in the New England Region. TPC is a vertically integrated firm, with development, construction management and asset management in-house, as well as self-performing civil, sitework, and utility construction.This important role is responsible for performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and carpentry tasks. This role requires proficiency in handling tools and equipment, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage time efficiently to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.Responsibilities:â ¢ Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing plumbing leaks, repairing electrical fixtures, painting, and drywall repair.â ¢ Address emergency maintenance issues promptly.â ¢ Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, such as doors, furniture, cabinets, and shelves.â ¢ Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.â ¢ Install doors, windows, flooring, and other hardware.â ¢ Assemble and install furniture and other items as required.â ¢ Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.â ¢ Diagnose problems and determine the best solutions.â ¢ Plan and estimate materials and time needed for specific projects.â ¢ Verify and validate delivery of materials.â ¢ Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.â ¢ Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with site, local building codes and regulations.â ¢ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.â ¢ Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.â ¢ Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.Competencies:â ¢ Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, metal, and other materials.â ¢ Ability to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures.â ¢ Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems to handle minor repairs and installations.â ¢ Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.â ¢ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.â ¢ Skills in painting, staining, and finishing surfaces to ensure a polished look.â ¢ Proficiency in installing, repairing, and finishing drywall.â ¢ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.â ¢ Strong communication skills to interact with clients and understand their needs.â ¢ Consistent in attendance, punctuality, and completing tasks as promised.â ¢ Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.â ¢ Ability to work well with others, including team members and subcontractors.â ¢ Clear and effective verbal communication with clients, team members, and supervisors.â ¢ Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and job requirements.Qualifications:â ¢ Proven experience as a handyman, carpenter, or in a similar role.â ¢ Proficient in using hand and power tools.â ¢ Strong understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.â ¢ Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.â ¢ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.â ¢ Good communication and interpersonal skills.â ¢ Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
