The Role:This position is for someone who has mechanical and handyman skills.Job specifications are as followsBasic to advanced knowledge and the ability to repair, maintain and troubleshoot:* Flooring* Carpeting* Painting* Plastering* Drywall* Wall coverings* Appliances* Windows* DoorsAdvanced knowledge and ability to repair, maintain and troubleshoot:* Electrical* Domestic water plumbing* Sewage plumbing* Gas plumbing* Boilers* HVAC (refrigerant evacuation, recovery and charging inclusive of brazing)Necessary certifications:* EPA certification for refrigerant handling/recovery Type 1 and 2.* EPA Universal certificate is a plus* FDNY G-60 (Torch Use) Must be obtained within a timely manner* FDNY F-60 (Fire Guard for Torch Use) Must be obtained within a timely mannerThis position will also require the capability to perform front of house contractor/tenant liaison meetings and/or discussions regarding the above outlined topics to best serve the tenants of a high end residential community.The requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion without notice.Guardian Service Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
