We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Handyperson. In this role, the successful candidate performs repairs to residential building building systems and tenant apartments under the direction of building superintendent and management team. Job Responsibilities:Safety Identifies unsafe conditions in work areas and takes appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others Identifies potential safety hazards of problems in work areas Takes appropriate measures for safety of self and others in work area Communicates information concerning unsafe conditions to supervisor Is available to respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends Is knowledgeable of Fire Alarm systems Works with emergency responders i e NYPD FDNY etc on all building related matters.
