Please apply online, and if qualified we will contact you to discuss the opportunities we have within our growing companyThe person hired will plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. This individual will also revise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, and calculations. The ideal candidate will be able to monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and Fosber standards. Work will include research and implementation of product improvements, design in accordance with required standards, management of component lifecycles, implementation of cost-reduction strategies, and assistance with new machinery installations and troubleshooting.RequirementsMinimum Knowledge/Experience Requirements:•Experience in a CAD related field is preferred but not required•Experience in EPlan is preferred but not required•Ability to design in accordance with required SIL/PL levels per ISO 13849-1:2006•Knowledge of the hardware-related aspects of PLCs, AC and DC drives, servo environments, and HMI/touchscreens•Knowledge of common industrial fieldbuses•Knowledge of UL508a and ability to incorporate into design of industrial control panels•Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70e, and NFPA 79Other Important Requirements:•Associate Degree in electrical-related field•2+ years' experience with Industrial Machinery•Willingness to travel when required, including international•Organization, communication, and accuracy•Mechanical aptitudeJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
