Adecco Creative is partnering with one of NYC's most iconic luxury fashion brands to recruit for a Technical Hardware Designer. This role will be creating technical specs for hardware within handbags, SLG's, and footwear. The role will be ongoing contract and a hybrid schedule. Ideal candidates will have expert level knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and a passion for hardware.
Technical hardware designer:
Work with hardware team to create design sketches, technical drawings and create sample comments specifically for hardware in the following (but not limited to) categories: handbags, footwear, and small leather good's. Candidate must have knowledge in 2D/3D technical drawings.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in hardware construction especially within handbags/footwear and preferably someone who has an industrial or product design related background.
Candidates must be highly detail oriented and have at least have 3+ years of experience in the industry. Technical designer must be highly adaptable, extremely organized and an exceptional communicator.
Expert level knowledge in Adobe Illustrator is a must. Knowledge in 3D programs such as AutoCAD and graphite vellum are a plus.
