Job SummaryHardware Team Members are responsible for spending time on the sales floor and helping our customers find the products they need. As a Hardware Clerk, you will be trained by experienced Team Members and be responsible for accurately processing customers' orders through our register system. You know that you are only successful when those around you are set up for success, and you are eager to support an amazing team.Job DescriptionExperience Required: 0 to 6 monthsExperience Desired: Possess a vast product knowledge of hardware-related products along with a willingness to learn; Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships, and working with customers; A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction; Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills; Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent.Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds.Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain safety as the top priority for our Team Members, guests, and products.Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.Provide unparalleled guest service, constantly striving to delight and surprise our guests, vendors, and stakeholders.Become familiar with the products in the ACE Hardware department in order to answer questions and make suggestions to guests.Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.Replenish products on the shelves.Participate in the processing of new shipments.Maintain cleanliness of department and work area, including the back room.Actively participate in, and promote, an environment that embraces diversity, inclusion, and respect for Team Members, customers, vendors, and the community.#J-18808-Ljbffr
