Harvest LaborerJob Number: 350989Category: Maintenance GeneralDescription: Job Title: Harvest LaborerLocation: Havana, ILZip Code: 47620Start Date: Right AwayJob Type: Contract - 6 monthsPay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hourSchedule: 7 AM - 4 PM During Harvest: 12-hour days, 6 days a weekKeywords: #laborer #harvestjobsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for assisting with truck loading/unloading and storage operations.Assist management team with operational activities associated with the storage and moving of seed.Responsible for housekeeping, sweeping, tarping, etc.Perform and follow all safety procedures outlined in company written procedures.Work cooperatively with management team and co-workers.Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or higherGood organizational skillsAble and willing to learn new responsibilities.Excellent communication skillsAbility to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to plan, organize and perform with limited supervision.Exhibit prompt and regular attendance.Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.Willing to work shift with variable start time, weekends and holidays as needed.Willing and able to work overtime as needed during seed and harvest seasons.Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed.Exhibit a professional image at all times, maintain a positive and respectful attitudeIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
