Hazardous Material Coordinator Location - California, MD Requirements:

  • Responsible for site HAZMAT program.
  • Knowledge of principles, standards, and techniques of HAZMAT management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Federal, DOD, State, and Local regulations pertaining to the protection of the environment
  • Knowledge of the CNAF 4790.2 series and Naval aviation related experiences preferred
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of practical experience within the last four (4) years in the management, administration, or operation of a hazardous materials/waste program. Experience should include receiving, storage, distribution, handling, and disposal of all types of material that may be utilized at the Contractor's job site.
  • One of the two years of experience should include planning, organizing, directing, operating, and evaluating a HAZMAT program for an entire organization.
  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • HAZCOM, Hazardous Material Handling certificate
