- Utilize hand-tools and equipment, absorbent booms and pads to contain and remediate impacted surfaces, soils and waters.
- Operate light and heavy equipment including: pumps, vacuum, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats, etc.
- Perform emergency response activities including: chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination.
- Be able to meet a 12 hour night or day shift work schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Able to work on-call projects as well as longer term projects
- Experience with pump watch, setting up gabion walls and sediment removal required
- Ability to perform labor intensive activities in any weather or environmental conditions
- Reliable local transportation
- Ability to perform duties while adhering to safety priorities while wearing PPE, such as respirators and protective clothing'
