If you aren't afraid to have fun with your job and will bring enthusiasm, dedication, and spirit, we want YOU to join our TEAM!As an HBTS Support Staff, you will be responsible for the following:Protecting the rights and dignities of children with special needs and extending these rights and dignities to family members or guardiansWorking one-on-one in the home/community with a child who has special needsProviding specialized treatment and/or treatment support to children aged 3-21 years in all areas identified through HBTS plansReviewing treatment plans for direction and collecting data to achieve goalsAttending agency and department-specific trainings and meetingsPerforming other duties as directed by the supervisor related to the organization's mission, goals, and operationsEducation/ Requirements:Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalentMust have two years of supervised experience working with children with special health care needs, or an Associate's degree in human services (i.e., psychology, counseling, child development, education, nursing, etc.), or be currently enrolled in not less than six (6) semester hours of relevant undergraduate coursework at an accredited college or universityMust successfully pass BCI and CANTs screeningsMust have a valid driver's license, safe driving record, automobile insurance, and access to a vehicle to be used as directed and when needed for transportWorking at the Trudeau Center will allow you to be a part of a non-profit agency supporting children and adults who are differently abled for 60 years!
