**Head Baker, Woodlake Market**

**Location:** Kohler, WI

**Opportunity**

Our Woodlake Market team offers a full-service bakery, deli, floral, meat and seafood departments, as well as local organically-raised beef and poultry, and a large selection of unique and hard-to-find specialty grocery products.

Responsibilities Include:

* Lead all bakery food preparation including sweet breads, breakfast pastries, rolls, sandwich breads, as well and special bakery items.

* Ensure that all standard operating procedures are updated and followed.

* Schedule regular cleaning, repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment to ensure its safe, sanitary operation and to achieve its maximum operational life.

* Ensure Bakery appearance and cleanliness is maintained at all times to meet with all health code and food safety regulations.

* Assist in leading, training, and coaching all team members.

* Review daily ordering, production and product rotation practices.

This is a full time position with shifts on weekdays and weekends between 3:00 am and 5:00 pm.

**Skills/Requirements**

* Must be 18 years of age.

* High school diploma or equivalency required.

* Minimum of 4 years experience in a bakery role with knowledge of proper food handling.

* Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail needed.

* The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift and to lift up to 50 pounds.
