The Southern Saratoga YMCA in Clifton Park, NY is seeking dynamic individuals to fill the roles of Head Swim Instructor, Head Lifeguard, Swim Instructor and Lifeguard. These pool positions support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community.CURRENT POOL VACANCIES* Head Lifeguards - Part time, various shifts available* Head Swim Instructors - Part time, various shifts available* Lifeguards - Part time, various shifts available* Swim Instructors - Part time, various shifts availableMANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL AQUATIC POSITIONS* AGE RESTRICTION: Minimum age of 16 years old for Entry Level positions (Lifeguards & Swim Instructors)Minimum age of 18 years old for Supervisory positions ( Head Lifeguard & Head Swim Instructor)NYS Working Papers required for applicants under 18 yrs old.* TESTING: Be able to pass a CDYMCA swim test, administered by the Aquatics Director or designated individual.* CERTIFICATIONS: Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid* SKILLS: Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
