Job Description Under general supervision, develops\directs and implement the processes in relation to: a. Schedule employees for Annual health Assessment; track and monitor all scheduled appointment for compliance. Assist in the assessment, physical exam, treatment an intervention related to occupational health; pre and post exposure prophylaxis; health surveillance for job related illness. b. Medically clear all employees upon completion of all necessary steps in onboarding including immunization.; review and accept medical attestation and screening for wellness related conditions. c. Performs major duties and functions as described for the Registered Nurse. d. Coordinates, guides and directs the development, implementation and evaluation of the OHS activities such as respirator fit testing. e. Reviews and analyzes trends pertinent to delivery of nursing and medical care services within OHS and initiates appropriate innovations or makes recommendations for needed changes. f. Develops and maintains a system of evaluation of nursing care, practices and procedures, including evaluation of nursing personnel within OHS . g. Assist the facility in the Hospital wide Immunization program and other related health programs to benefit employees. h. Render health education / teaching on topics related to an issue identified. Assist in infection control and prevention protocol/ surveillance. Minimum Qualifications 1. A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; and 2. Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA); and 3. One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse.
