The Company
Our client is an innovative consumer app start-up based in Los Angeles, and we are looking for a Head of Applications to join the team. As the Head of Applications, you will be responsible for owning and maintaining the quality of the frontend while overseeing external development teams. You will work closely with leadership to shape our product and ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the frontend development process to ensure high-quality application performance and user experience.
- Manage external dev teams and collaborate with them to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and direction, with the ability to dive into both frontend and full-stack development tasks.
- Work closely with product and design teams to implement new features, enhancements, and maintain the application.
- Ensure timely delivery of development projects and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Nest.js, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- A full-stack background is preferred, with deep knowledge of frontend technologies.
- Previous experience managing or working with external dev teams.
- Experience working in start-ups or consumer social apps is a must.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
