A multi-family developer dedicated to building community with a focus on wellness and technology is seeking a Head of Architecture to lead their architecture and design team in Miami. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an owner/operator looking to transform the way we live and the idea of building community.

This is a rare opportunity to join the company as they begin expanding locally and abroad and to help build the team from the ground up with a well-funded start-up. This is a true start-up, so the right person must be ambitious, with an agile personality to work through ambiguity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A mix of strategic planning, people management, and project execution

Collaborating with executives and stakeholders across the brand to ensure strategy alignment, including establishing and managing teams, project plans, budgets, and timelines

Hiring, leading, and mentoring the architecture and design team company-wide to foster a high-functioning, ambitious team built on trust and collaboration

Managing internal and external teams and resources to ensure seamless project execution

Establishing and maintaining architecture & design standards and best practices across the organization

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; a Master's degree is preferred

12+ years of professional experience in the architecture field, with 5+ years developing and leading teams

Extensive experience overseeing all phases of high-rise residential and mixed-use development; both new developments and renovations/adaptive reuse projects

Experience establishing and managing budgets, schedules, and overseeing financial successes of projects

Ability to mentor and motivate a high-functioning team

Compensation:

Base salary will be based on experience and can range from $250-$350K+. In addition, there will be an equity component along with 100% paid Medical, Dental, Vision as well as other offerings.
