Playfly Sports is looking for a Head of Playfly Aspire to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

The Head of Playfly Aspire will serve as the division's executive leader and will be responsible for all aspects of its strategic direction, financial performance, and business development. This position will oversee Aspire's core offerings, including Outsourced Ticketing and Customer Service, Strategic Consulting & Research, and Training in addition to its rapidly growing Premium Hospitality business. This executive role requires a dynamic leader with proven experience in managing large, complex business units and achieving outstanding results.

Leadership and Strategy

• Demonstrate company values at all times.
• Lead the Aspire division as its senior executive, establishing a clear vision and strategic direction for growth and profitability.
• Manage the overall P&L for the Aspire division, ensuring financial targets for revenue and EBITDA are met or exceeded.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand Aspire's full range of service offerings.
• Collaborate with Playfly's executive leadership team to align Aspire's goals with broader company objectives.
• Serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to company-wide strategy and decision-making.

Business Development and Innovation

• Drive innovation and growth in Aspire's service offerings, including premium hospitality, ticketing, strategic consulting, and training.
• Establish new business partnerships and identify opportunities to expand Aspire's footprint in the collegiate and professional sports markets.
• Lead efforts in identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including collegiate athletic departments, professional sports franchises, and industry partners.
• Work closely with the Premium Hospitality team to integrate new revenue streams and enhance Aspire's value proposition to partners.

Financial Management

• Develop and manage Aspire's budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals and strategic priorities.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to drive growth and profitability.
• Regularly review financial performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Represent Aspire in corporate Monthly Business Reviews, providing updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Aspire division, ensuring high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement best practices, processes, and standards to enhance service delivery and partner satisfaction.
• Ensure Aspire's services are delivered in alignment with Playfly's culture and values, maintaining a strong reputation in the market.

Talent Development and Team Management

• Build and lead a high-performing team, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Mentor and develop senior leaders within Aspire, ensuring effective succession planning and leadership development.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment that aligns with Playfly's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEI&B).

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business, sports management, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in sports management, ticketing, premium sales, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years in an executive leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large P&L responsibilities and achieving financial targets.
• Experience in developing and executing business strategies in sports or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of the sports marketplace, including ticketing, hospitality, and fan engagement trends.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams to achieve high performance and growth.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives and support team members across various locations.

Other Requirements

• Location: While Atlanta, GA is the preferred location (NY, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, or LA will also be considered)
• This role may require travel for business needs and availability to work off-hours and weekends for special sporting events.
