TripleTen is a remote first organization mirroring our students who complete our bootcamps in a remote environment. In the Role This position will be responsible for holding the vision and developing the strategy of career & employment services for TripleTen students to achieve year and quarter goals in main business metrics. This leadership role will manage a small team of direct full time reports which will require thoughtful management of the P&L of the Career Services Dept. along with improving the overall student placement outcomes, and overall service quality of the career services teams. This position will report into the Chief Student Experience Officer and be remotely based in the United States. The KPI's for this will focus on:
  • Creating and maintain high student employment rates
  • Fast time-to-employment for students post graduation
  • Managing Career Services COGS
What you will do
  • Create and own the strategic vision for TripleTens Career Services approach based on the organizational strategy and vision for the US market.
  • Develop and implement a repeatable strategy for establishing new partnerships within the US market to accelerate student employment through externships, internships and direct job opportunities.
  • Create a quality of service baseline for the services we provide and manage its continuous improvement within the team.
  • Manage the Career Service team with prioritizing critical projects & resources, hire new team members, and create a strong team culture focused on student outcomes.
  • Research and evaluate our core competitors career services work; provide insights about the current job market, and identify current trends in career services.
  • Collect feedback from TripleTens alumni and employers of TripleTen alumni and share findings with the marketing team to develop the our brand and product offerings.
Key Initial Challenges
  • Meeting the operational challenge of scaling the amount of employed graduates to 3x current numbers
  • Evolving our Career Services metrics and align them to industry standards
  • Design and implement repeatable and effective processes to develop new partnerships with tech oriented companies in the US Market.
Requirements
  • 5+ years leading a career services team in an EdTech organization or IT Bootcamp
  • Demonstrated experience identifying the key drivers of student job placement outcomes and aligning career services work process to support those outcomes
  • High emotional intelligence. Ability to lead people from many professional backgrounds towards the same organizational goals, and empowering their team to find the best way forward within the context of the what career services focuses on.
  • Experience leading fully remote part-time teams and knowing how to keep their teams engaged on the core mission.
  • Must be based in the Continental United States.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years as a corporate, agency, or staffing, Recruiting Manager or Talent Acquisition Manager. What we can offer you
