About the Position

As Head of Community Solar Residential Sales at Altus Power, you will be responsible for building and managing Altus' residential community solar customer acquisition and customer support teams. You will be responsible for building the team that will drive residential (B2C) customer acquisition as well as help shape the strategy to ensure that Altus provides industry-leading customer experience. Both the customer acquisition sales and marketing teams as well as the customer support team report to this role.

As the Head of the Residential Sales, you'll ensure that Altus Power's national portfolio of projects are full subscribed, in compliance with local regulations, are well managed, and optimized to maximize profitability.

This position requires a polished professional with an understanding of sales, strong communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute customer acquisition strategy: Create and implement a multi-channel residential customer acquisition strategy, including digital marketing, channel sales, and partnerships, to maximize subscriber growth.

* Build and lead high-performing team: Recruit, develop, and lead a team of experienced customer acquisition professionals to achieve aggressive growth targets.

* Channel optimization: Optimize performance across various acquisition channels, including online advertising, email marketing, social media, and partnerships.

* Sales process optimization: Develop and refine the sales process to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

* Data analysis and reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on customer acquisition performance.

* Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify new opportunities for customer acquisition.

* Develop customer support strategy: Create and implement a customer support strategy aligned with overall business objectives.

* Customer service excellence: Ensure team provides high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient issue resolution, timely responses, and proactive communication.

* Process improvement: Build team to identify opportunities to improve customer support processes and reduce handle time.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role

* Proven track record in leading high-performing customer acquisition teams

* Deep understanding of customer acquisition strategies and tactics, including digital marketing, sales, and partnerships.

* Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Experience in building and managing budgets.

* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
