We are rapidly expanding and looking for a self-driven, resourceful, and experienced Leaded for C&I to significantly enhance our instructional capabilities to support measured student growth. What We Are Looking For - As the Head of Content and Instruction, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experiences of students or learners, ensuring that they receive impactful and engaging educational content that helps them achieve their learning objectives. As the leader of Content, Curriculum and Instruction, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and delivery of educational content and instructional strategies across various platforms. You will lead a team of content creators, curriculum developers, and instructional designers to ensure the highest quality of educational materials and an engaging learning experience for students or learners. You will oversee instructional coaching and drive our continuous improvement process using key student data to ensure exceptional student outcomes What You Will Do - Content & Curriculum (Design, Develop, & Strategize)
Instructional Development and Design: - Lead the instructional design process, working closely with your team to design effective and engaging learning experiences.
- Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with educational growth objectives, target students, and evidence/ research based best practice.
- Oversee the creation of instructional materials, including lesson plans, videos, presentations, assessments, and other learning resources.
- Ensure that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and is aligned with state curriculum standards.
- Implement instructional best practices and methodologies to enhance learner comprehension and retention.
- Incorporate multimedia and interactive elements to create dynamic learning modules.
Curriculum Alignment: - Ensure that all educational content aligns with curriculum standards, learning objectives, and educational outcomes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to verify accuracy and relevance of content.
- Regularly update and refine curriculum to reflect changes in educational requirements or industry trends.
C&I Team Management: - Oversee the content creation, curriculum developers, and instructional design teams.
Quality Assurance: - Establish quality control processes to review and assess the effectiveness of instructional materials.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of content to identify areas for improvement and ensure a high level of instructional integrity.
What You Will Do - Data- driven Instruction (Coach, Strategize, & Analyze Student Growth)
Instructional Coaching and Intervention Support: - Use data-driven instruction evidence/research based best practice to develop and drive student growth plans
- Partner with internal instruction management and operations teams to ensure best practice in RTI/ MTSS, Tier 1/2/3 instruction, interventions, tutoring and instructional delivery.
- Drive continuous instructional delivery improvement teams, ensuring they meet the needs of our target student populations.
- Continuously review student data to drive high performance and accountability.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
Multilingual / English Learner Support - Develop support for Multilingual / English Learners, that includes support for continue to develop their home language while also learning an additional language.
- Develop strategies and use best practices for student with Interrupted Formal Education (SIFE), Newcomers: Asylum-seekers, immigrants, refugees, or migrant children, and Long-term English Learners (LTEL)
Support for students populations - Drive content creation, instruction design, and instructional support for students with exceptionalities
- Develop support for Students with IEPs / Dyslexia / 504, including ensuring Academic accommodations with Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Support, design, create, and leverage specially designed grade-level reading and math content in the least restrictive environment (LRE)
Technology Integration: - Explore and leverage technology tools and platforms to enhance the delivery of educational content.
- Stay updated on emerging educational technologies and assess their potential impact on content and instruction.
Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and technology, to ensure seamless content delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Professional Development: - Stay current with educational trends, pedagogical research, and advancements in instructional design.
- Oversee professional growth within your team by providing opportunities for skill development and training.
What You Bring
- A Master's degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- ESL and SPED Certified preferred
- Proven experience in curriculum design, educational content development, and instructional design.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), multimedia tools, and educational technologies.
- Familiarity with curriculum standards and educational regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality educational content.
