Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer's dream. Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, CB Insights, Button, ZoomInfo and Compass. Vendelux is seeking a versatile Data Operations professional, who is a proactive problem solver with a strong background in operational rigor, stakeholder management, and a commitment to driving impactful results. In this dynamic role, you will take charge of building efficient, scalable processes, enhancing data visibility, and leveraging analytical insights to drive operational excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, standardized data workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and alignment with business objectives across internal teams and external partners.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive strategic decisions, ensuring data processes can scale and evolve with business needs.
  • Conduct audits and establish monitoring systems to proactively identify inefficiencies, set data quality benchmarks, and enforce SLAs with data partners.
  • Develop and refine data acquisition processes and systems to meet the demands of growth and expanding product offerings.
  • Collaborate with data and engineering teams to address technical limitations and design scalable, automated solutions for data acquisition and integration.
  • Leverage data insights to guide strategy and improve operations in alignment with both immediate needs and long-term business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to align on goals, optimize data acquisition performance, and regularly assess partner performance standards.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance immediate operational needs with long-term business objectives, contributing to a data strategy that drives sustainable growth.
  • Communication: Strong communicator adept at translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and maintaining transparency across teams.
  • Project Management: Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and managing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring projects are executed efficiently from planning to completion.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in Operations, Technical Program Management, or Management Consulting.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS preferred, with a strong background in optimizing operational workflows involving data or content.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Jira, BI tools, and data management platforms preferred.
  • Highly analytical with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and actionable plans.
  • Adaptable and agile, with a knack for bringing order to chaos.
