Job OverviewAvaloch Farm Music Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee our music residency program's housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas of the property are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.DutiesSupervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for various areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed while adhering to budgetary guidelines.Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.QualificationsProven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of custodial practices, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; able to prioritize tasks efficiently.Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties, including lifting up to 30 pounds as needed.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business needs.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, SeasonalPay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 - 30 per weekBenefits:Flexible scheduleShift:Morning shiftWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
