Our client, an investment firm with over $70b AUM based in the Los Angeles area, is currently seeking an HR Director with 7-10+ years of HR experience within the private equity, hedge fund, or investment management space.

Candidates must have experience with talent management, including leadership development, performance management, and retention strategies as well as solid experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and organizational development. In addition, expertise in ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations (both federal and CA-specific) is imperative. This individual will supervise junior administrators, oversee onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and refine existing HR practices and systems. They will also be responsible for the annual performance review process and support professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate has the ability to drive cultural integration across the organization and build a fostering, high-performance culture in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Candidates must be comfortable being on-site 5 days/week.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree
• 7-10+ years of professional HR experience within investment management/hedge fund/PE space, demonstrating progressive responsibility and expertise
• Confidentiality: Expertise in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Proficient in navigating and resolving complex HR challenges
• Expertise in HR Policies
• Strong understanding of benefits administration and employment law
