Head of Marketing & Communications Piaget | New York Role Overview The Head of Marketing is accountable for the implementation of the marketing & communication strategy for the Americas region to develop Piaget Maison turnover in all product categories. He/she drives communication investments and local PR strategy in order to optimize the Maison Piaget reputation and visibility / exclusivity. Responsibilities Strategic Plan:
- In collaboration with the Brand President, defines local Marketing and Communication strategy in line with international guidelines ensuring the specific adaptation to local context and challenges.
- In collaboration with the Brand President, leads the yearly Strategic Plan & ensure transversal synergy across divisions and regular planning updates.
- Regular reporting and presentations to key stakeholders from both Piaget (Local & Global), and Richemont Americas.
Team member management:
- Engages, develops and leads the Marketing, Communication teams: designs the optimum organization, recruits the right profiles (succession plans and external pipeline), evaluates and compensates performance and develops potentials (career committees and mid-year discussions, feedback, training and development plans, mobility) to federate and retain them.
Marketing Strategy & Development:
- Accountable for local product strategy (price, quantity, sale forecast) and for business results (LE, BU) per product and network. Defines launch packs and specific local actions to support sales staff and develop turnover.
- Responsible for overseeing all product lines including action plan, animation, communication, performance, feedbacks & reporting.
- Monitor competitor activity and utilize key data for benchmarking.
- Manage and control A&P budget, in line with yearly budget & guidelines.
- Ensure that planned ROI is achieved in each maison initiative.
Communication Strategy & development:
- Implement the Maison image and guidelines through media plan definition and press/PR and Events. Interact with Richemont media agency and ensures good relationships with the agency and with local journalists.
- Is responsible for the ROI on communication tools through performance monitoring tools (DMR, Bumblebee) and through competitors analysis.
- Plan strategic media across all channels and oversee implementation.
- Oversee Maison's events & ensure Maison's identity is well expressed & conveyed to the audience.
- Identify and build key sponsorships and partnerships that meet Maison's criteria and objectives.
- Establish and build strong connections with various vendors, retailers, publishers, press, stylists, collectors, and key opinion leaders.
- Monitor editorial performance & put in place action plans accordingly.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 10 years + experience in marketing; strong knowledge of the luxury/jewelry/watch environment in North America is a plus and at least 3+ years in a Senior Marketing role.
Technical Skills/Abilities
- Experience in budget management
- Experience in Media and PR planning tools
- SAP experience a plus

$135,000 - $150,000 Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
