Loopscale is seeking a Head of Marketing to establish our strategic go-to-market strategy, orchestrate major launches, and spearhead marketing initiatives to grow Loopscale's brand with target users across social and digital channels. The ideal candidate can master a big picture narrative while driving impact across the marketing stack as a generalist, self-motivated with a clear point of view to craft compelling storylines for specific audiences, curate and create engaging multi-channel content, and scale marketing partnerships.

You will be responsible for:Positioning and Strategy: Develop and frame a comprehensive narrative and marketing engine including brand positioning and go to market campaigns, ensuring effective communication across various channels to cultivate audience product comprehension, engagement, and growth aligned with company KPIs.
Content and Channel Management
Own the content strategy and lifecycle, including ideation, development, distribution, promotional strategy, and measurement.
Write impactful short- and long-form content such as social posts, blog articles, and user documentation that effectively communicates the value of our product.
Collaborate with the design team to oversee and aid in the creation of graphics, motion graphics, and videos.
Become an expert in our daily marketing channels including X and Discord to ensure we are delivering the most impactful messages that convert at every stage of the customer's journey
Growth & Partnerships
Identify, aggregate, and prioritize outbound and inbound partner marketing opportunities and manage outreach and partnership logistics.
Developing high-impact media and “KOL” relationships to secure strategic placements for Loopscale in industry newsletters and podcasts to to amplify brand presence and reach new audiences.
Oversee logistics for physical brand presence including conference events and speaking engagements.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns aligned with Loopscale's business objectives, ensuring cohesive campaigns across various channels.
Live and breathe crypto Twitter and Discord to stay up-to-date on industry trends and user preferences and ensure our content strategy remains relevant and effective.
A track record in a lead marketing role at a high-growth tech startup, preferably in web3 or DeFi.
Proven ability to distill the competitive landscape for our internal team - be the voice of the ecosystem to inform a focused strategy
Proven ability to use social media to build communities at scale, with experience in developing blog posts, explainer threads, product marketing, and memes.
Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to develop and adapt tone of voice for various target audiences with a knack for identifying topical industry news and capitalizing on it with a unique point of view.
A deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly X (formally known as Twitter), Discord and YouTube.
Experience with Figma and the ability to create visually compelling graphics.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Commitment: This position initially offers a two-month contract, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. The contract will be renewed monthly upon mutual agreement between the candidate and Loopscale. Upon successful completion of this contract period, the candidate will be eligible for conversion to a permanent, full-time role within the organization. This structure allows both parties to ensure a strong fit before committing to long-term employment.
Location: We are headquartered in Flatiron in New York City. This position offers the flexibility for global candidates to work remotely but with a strong preference for candidates based in New York.
Pay: The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000-$160,000 with a total compensation of up to $220,000. The specific salary offer will depend on various job-related factors, including location, education, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees also eligible to participate in Loopscale's equity plan and other company benefits (such as health plans).
