Sage + Sound is looking for an experienced, customer-centric and results-oriented marketing
leader to develop and execute marketing strategies that will enable Sage + Sound to drive
brand awareness and growth. As Head of Marketing, you will lead a team focused on
maximizing impact through digital channels (Paid Social, Paid Search and Display, SMS, Email,
SEO, Emerging Media, etc), offline channels and CRM to drive brand awareness and growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building a brand and the use of data
to help guide decision-making. The ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines with
rapidly shifting priorities while being flexible is key.
This role will report directly to the Co-Founder /Co-CEO and collaborate with key internal and
external partners to effectively conceive, plan and execute marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
● Create, oversee and execute marketing strategies that will drive brand awareness,
conversion, retention and acquisition
● Lead brand strategy and drives the operational delivery of strategy, inclusive of
communications campaigns
● Monthly campaign planning, ideation and execution
● Leverage data, metrics and consumer trends to drive actionable insights and optimize
marketing campaigns
● Manage marketing budget and deliver on target
● Partner with Graphic Designer, eCommerce, Social Media/Content and The Study team
to define and implement campaigns that align and contribute to business objectives
● Lead an internal team and agency partners and oversee strategy creation by channels:
Paid Social/Display, Paid Search, SEO, Email, SMS. Ensure plans ladder back to overall
brand strategy and objectives
● Drive team learning agendas, own the weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting cadence
● Own and drive the analysis of all marketing campaigns based on clearly defined KPIs
● Partner with CRM and Finance to develop deeper understanding of customer segments
and behavior and develop programs that will drive acquisition and retention
● Ensure compliance with brand standards across marketing channels
● Create and manage marketing calendars highlighting brand activations, events,
promotions, etc.
● Partner with CRM, The Study and Operations team, to develop surveys that will help
inform and improve customer experience
● Partner with CRM, The Study and Operations team, to develop omnichannel
campaigns/promotions including local market, online, and in-person
● Observe and analyze market + competitor trends, and white space opportunities
● Help create and implement marketing processes based on business needs
● Put the customer at the center of everything we do at Sage + Sound
Requirements:
● Bachelor's Degree.
● 5-10 years related marketing experience preferably with an omnichannel (eCommerce +
Stores) high growth brand
● Demonstrated experience in successfully conceiving and executing innovative and
unique campaign experiences
● Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, their features and best practices
● Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and the ability to prioritize
● Demonstrated experience in the ability to positively and creatively influence change and
direction
