Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing a cohesive strategic marketing vision and execution plan to drive brand awareness, voice, reach, relevance, impact, influence, conversion, and analytics, to achieve AccuWeather's objectives of growth, profitability, and visibility globally.

The Head of Marketing will oversee all marketing activities, including advertising campaigns, branding strategies, public relations, event marketing, social media, and CRM programs. This role requires collaboration with the Executive Team to develop consistent messaging and training to enhance sales efforts and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop a cohesive marketing point of view for US and international execution across Go-To-Market, Sales, and Marketing channels.
  • Oversee Digital Media Advertising and Partnership Acquisition.
  • Partner with Business Development to build proactive growth platforms based on user insights/data.
  • Leverage marketing mix to drive customer acquisition & retention while improving overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive successful new product launches.
  • Manage vendors and agencies and coordinate with internal staff functions.
  • Develop and prioritize plans for international expansion and growth.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Experience growing a brand and maximizing company revenue.
  • Strong creative insight and ability to inspire others.
  • Proven ability to work with and influence executives.
  • Hands-on leader willing to engage in details.
  • Deep understanding of Digital Media.
  • Ability to assess talent and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience leading a successful marketing team.
  • Ability to use analytics and market research to drive decision making.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in PR and communication space is beneficial.

Pay Transparency:

State College, PA: $200,000 - $210,000 + annual bonus opportunity

New York, NY: $245,000 - $255,000 + annual bonus opportunity
