Company Overview:

We have partnered with a client that is looking for Head of Marketplace Growth is responsible for developing lead growth strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about Open Source Software, Agile methodology and Product Led Growth. Obsessed with data driven decisions. Ideally with active github account and advanced Hubspot certification.

The goal is to ensure that the client becomes the destination site for Communications Service Providers, Businesses and Developers looking to build or buy contextual telco applications. The Head of Marketplace Growth is a highly motivated, resourceful, and Internet-savvy individual with affinity for Open Source Software. Continuously pull together market research, customer insights, and analysis to deliver timely intelligence on emerging trends and customer needs that drive marketplace traffic.

The candidate is responsible for implementing promotional campaigns used for B2B marketing, designing and managing blogs and social media related to the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive traffic from search engines, open source assets and social channels to Marketplace.
  • Identify and drive projects with development and analytics teams to increase organic sharing on site.
  • Build social publishing strategies with the business counterpart to increase social presence.
  • Enhance seller experience including policies, seller marketing, featuring products and providing analytics.
  • Identify and implement product marketing strategies that increase conversions from Free and open-source software (FOSS) and trial users to paid subscribers.
  • Improve search engine optimization and increase product exposure in Google search results.
  • Analyze data and provide relevant metric reporting and analytics on all online marketing promotions, as well as on learning product performance.
  • Develop mobile device compatibility marketing initiatives and activities to drive overall revenue.
  • Monitor product usage metrics, design and implement automated campaigns to drive deeper product adoption.
  • Implement automation that signals to the sales and customer success teams when to reach out for a conversation with customers.

Accountabilities and Performance Metrics:

  • Meet revenue-based financial goals.
  • Meet/exceed traffic and new user acquisitions targets.
  • Improve conversion rates from visitors, open sources users and trials to paid subscribers.
  • Successfully manage social platforms to boost traffic.

Organizational Alignment:

  • Reports to VP Marketing.
  • Enlists the support of Product Managers and Business Development Specialists as needed.
  • Closely coordinates company executive involvement on ROI and success metrics.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of traffic growth experience, affiliate marketing, SEO and/or site management in a business-to-business marketplace environment.
  • Bachelor's degrees in marketing or communications or computer science.
