The Role
- Lead a team of skilled AI/ML/MLOps Engineers to deliver innovative solutions and solve complex problems in the financial services sector.
- Drive the strategic vision for the firm's AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms while staying hands-on with technical execution.
- Define the strategic direction for AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement best-in-class tools and technologies.
- Apply MLOps best practices to create seamless, efficient deployment pipelines.
- Build and maintain containerized runtime environments for AI/ML workloads.
Skills and Experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Python programming and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- In-depth experience with GPUs and related technologies, including CUDA.
- Hands-on experience with containerization, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Direct people management experience of modest-sized teams
- Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders across the business
- Fluent in machine learning operations, runtime, orchestration and workflow optimization
- Fluent in maintaining containerized runtime environments
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
THE BENEFITS
A competitive base salary of $240,000-260,000 + bonus + equity
