Pleroma Media, a global business media company operating out of New York City with digital news properties in 20 countries, is hiring a Head of Operations to support its portfolio of digital media properties.

The Head of Operations is the architect of operational mastery, shaping the company's future while ensuring a smooth-running operation that empowers teams, enhances productivity, and embraces the power of synergy to meet and exceed the company's goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Visionary Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap, aligning operational goals with the company's overarching mission and vision.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to ensure the company's resources are utilized effectively.
  • Streamline Operations: Identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and implement efficient systems that boost productivity and improve overall business performance.
  • Team Empowerment: Inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions, identify trends, and proactively address challenges to optimize company performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in a leadership role, preferably as an Operations Manager or Finance Manager in a digital media company or news organization.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. CPA or CFA also preferred.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate vision into action, aligning operational strategies with broader business goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in utilizing data analytics and KPIs to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
