What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership & Innovation
    • Define Operational Excellence: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to boost operational efficiency, drive productivity, and fuel our growth.
    • Champion Process Improvements: Identify areas for innovation and implement processes to streamline workflow, improve project delivery, and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with the executive team to shape our company policies and foster alignment on strategic goals.
  • Financial & Performance Management
    • Optimize Budgets: Manage the annual budget process, financial forecasting, and expenditure control to ensure the company stays on a profitable growth path.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and monitor performance metrics, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and drive improvements.
    • Increase Profitability: Analyze costs, drive efficiencies, and implement initiatives that enhance profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • People & Culture Leadership
    • Inspire Teams: Lead and mentor departmental managers, cultivating a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
    • Professional Development: Partner with HR to create training and development opportunities that align with our mission and empower our team members.
    • Promote High Performance: Ensure all team members have clear objectives, continuous feedback, and opportunities to excel in their roles.
  • Client & Partner Engagement
    • Build Strong Relationships: Foster meaningful connections with our clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
    • Vendor & Supplier Negotiation: Lead negotiations with vendors to optimize pricing, quality, and terms that align with Axionova's goals.
    • Expand Our Reach: Represent Axionova in the community, industry forums, and public spaces to strengthen our brand and reputation.
  • Risk & Compliance Management
    • Mitigate Operational Risks: Develop risk management strategies to protect our assets, safeguard our team, and ensure sustainable operations.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and Axionova's internal guidelines.
    • Safety First: Maintain a safe work environment, implementing and regularly reviewing safety policies and practices.

  • Data-Driven & Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, and you're adept at interpreting and utilizing data to make informed decisions.
  • Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
    • Experience: At least 10 years in operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. Industry experience in engineering, construction, or a similar field is a plus.
    • Certifications: PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong asset.
    • Knowledge of Compliance: Familiar with operational standards, laws, and regulatory requirements within the industry.
