JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead the transformation of Global Supplier Finance Service department (P2P) from a people, data, process and system perspective, enabling a motivated and talented team of professionals to deliver a frictionless operating model and support business growth in a financial risk-controlled environment.

Support HBX strategy by streamlining and digitalizing existing P2P processes as well as defining new financial processes for fintech & business development initiatives, by partnering up with commercial & finance teams to balance company cash & risk policies with enhanced supplier experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for suppliers finance services delivery for both retained and outsourced team.
  • Lead the definition of new TOM as part of the finance Transformation Program and oversee the implementation.
  • Improve & strengthen business partnering framework with sourcing, fintech, business development, HBX senior management & strategic suppliers.
  • Improve departmental structure. Develop and retain talent. Manage cultural differences. Lead the change in mindset and ways of working towards a customer centric and data driven global supplier finance service department.
  • Reinforce Debtor Balances & Risk policy, prevent & mitigate financial risks and minimize P&L impact.
  • Provide operational sign-off for new initiatives and ensure timely and frictionless implementation.
  • Tactically manage relationship with BPO provider, ensuring alignment with transformation roadmap and meeting cost targets.
  • Ensure effective performance data and service level framework is in place, both internally and externally.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee Internal and External audit process within the area.
  • Skills:

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record (5-10 years) of managing global transformation programs/projects in finance services and/or business processes area.
  • 5+ years experience of managing a global finance function and/or large teams across multiple geographies.
  • Extensive experience (5-10 years) in shared service implementation & transformation (onshore/offshore, in-house/outsource) and ERP systems.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish highly recommended.
  • Flexibility to travel worldwide.
  • Travel industry experience desirable.
  • Project Management certification or similar.
  • Qualifications:
  • Finance and/or business management qualified to the appropriate advanced level (depending on country) or equivalent degree.
  • Business Economics degree or similar highly recommended.
  • Good understanding of business models, financial risk & cashflow management.
  • Good understanding of PMO & LSS principles recommended.
  • Appreciation of accounting principles and Tax, Legal, Statutory requirements for key trading countries.
