Job Summary: Beazley is looking for a dynamic candidate for the role of Head of Partner Engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all Focus Groups with the growth aspirations of their respective business segments within assigned Region through the development and execution of the regional business plan. You will deliver on targeted growth initiatives for assigned brokers and support Partner Engagement leadership on completion of assigned projects that supports overall US growth and service excellence objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep understanding of the levers of effective distribution activities and poses ability to implement regional initiatives and plans to drive momentum while supporting overarching growth initiatives
  • Gain deep understanding of each underwriting teams risk appetite and broker distribution strategy for assigned region to drive regional plans, goals and initiatives
  • Ensure personal and professional development of Partner Engagement team
  • Effectively communicate Beazley Groups strategy, corporate messaging and marketing initiatives to our partners
  • Collaborate with Business Development to execute against the growth strategies and sales hygiene on a local level
  • Support development of targeted plans including broker education, broker entertainment, and tools to support underwriters success
  • Partner with underwriters to better understand broker relationship, including candid feedback on service levels to create an ultimate service experience
  • Identify new business opportunities (a program, a book for sale, MGU, a panel opportunity, speaking opportunities etc.) and partner with underwriters to explore growth possibilities.
  • Oversee tracking of local, broker or focus group productivity data and our partners are working towards our growth goals
  • Ensure insights on local market conditions, competitor landscape, change in broker strategies and client trends are delivered
  • Contribute to local, regional or national events supporting our collective growth goals
  • Support in driving client engagement and marketing initiatives on a local level in collaboration with respective teams

Personal Specification:

Education and Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven relationship management and people leadership skills
  • Ability to work and self-motivate while being a key contributor and mentor
  • Strong business development and sales skills, with the ability to appropriately influence both internal and external stakeholders to obtain positive outcomes for the overall company
  • Knowledge of CRM, MS Office and advanced Excel

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and draw insight via appropriate software applications
  • Ability to interpret trends and customize strategy accordingly

Knowledge and Experience

  • General commercial and financial knowledge
  • Deep understanding of insurance industry, broker or carrier experience preferred
  • Several years business development experience, with a proven track record of developing profitable property/casualty portfolios
  • Client service experience

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individuals location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $190,000 - $250,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.
