The Nourish mobile app provides a comprehensive approach to wellness through personalized visits with Registered Dietitians, medically-tailored meal delivery, health progress tracking, personalized content, meal logging, recipes / meal planning, AI chat, and more.We launched two years ago and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.Learn more about us in TechCrunch here and read about our recent Series A here.About the RoleWe are looking for a People leader serving as a strategic partner to our leadership team, responsible for developing the people strategy and processes that support our most important asset: our employees. You'll lead all talent strategy, including employee experience, compliance, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and organizational design. We are looking for a strategic problem solver to work with us and enable us to move faster as we grow the team more than 2x in 2025. This role reports directly to our co-founder / CEO. You will manage our existing people & talent team members. This role is full-time and open to NYC or remote candidates (NYC preferred).Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on the executive team and key thought leader on People & Talent matters.
  • Build credible relationships at all levels of organization and maintain an in-depth understanding of the core short and long term objectives of the business to support informed people strategies.
  • Talent Acquisition: Own the end-to-end recruitment process, drive employer branding, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Onboarding & Training: Develop a seamless onboarding process and support ongoing learning and development.
  • Performance Management: Lead initiatives for continuous feedback, managing out low performers when necessary.
  • Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that foster a positive, high-energy culture aligned with our core values.
  • People Operations: Oversee compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Compensation & Org Design: Implement competitive comp structures and contribute to effective org design as we scale.
